You just have to log in using your regular Minecraft account.

Once you reach the main menu, you can find out the number of online and maximum players, as well as configure settings before entering the game. For instance, you can add and manage accounts, set the game resolution, or make the game launch in fullscreen and automatically connect to the server on launch.

Installs Java automatically if you don't have it

When it comes to Java, you can set the minimum and maximum allocated RAM, set the path to the Java executable if it's installed in a different location than default, and specify additional JVM commands.
